Welcome to our Long Jump/Triple Jump program at High Intensity Track in Fairfield, NJ. This program is designed to enhance jump mechanics to increase overall distance and take-off efficiency.
Long jump and triple jump sessions will focus on:
- Developing a proper approach in order to maximize velocity and control at take-off
- Learning the proper technique of the sail, hang, and hitch kick
- Developing an understanding of each phase of the jumps and the importance behind each phase (ex. penultimate step, step or skip phase, and the landing phase)
Join us at High Intensity Track in Fairfield, NJ, for our dynamic Hurdles/Sprints program designed to teach advanced sprint / hurdle drills and mechanics in order to develop speed and hurdle technique.
Athletes in the Hurdles/Sprints program will engage in specialized training sessions focusing on hurdle techniques, sprint drills, and explosive speed exercises.
Hurdlers will participate in:
- Developing your lead and trail leg technique and speed
- Learning the proper mechanics to 3- stepping
- “The Zone Drill”
- “Reaction Drills”
- “Standing Lead”
- “Trail Drills”
Sprinters will participate in:
- “Over-speed”
- Sprint sled drills
- Agility Hurdle drills
Welcome to our High Jump program at High Intensity Track in Fairfield, NJ! Our High Jump program is designed to teach the proper take-off and “flop” mechanics in order to increase overall jump height.
High Jump drills will focus on:
- Understanding the proper approach for the High Jump “leaning away” & proper take-off position
- Enhancing bar mechanics with multiple take-off, landing, and other plyometric drills.
