A Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of Sports Medicine, Rehab, Taping and soft tissue procedures.

He is the developer of Functional Taping for MSK Injuries (FTMI), the developer of Functional Soft Tissue (FST), the co-developer of FAKTR, a former instructor for SpiderTech taping, HawkGrips, Graston Technique and the Council on Chiropractic and Extremity Procedures. Dr. Doerr has lectured on 6 continents and 32 of the US states over the last 22 years on topics of soft tissue, taping and rehabilitation.


Dr. Doerr has worked with sports teams at all levels with high points including the University of Colorado, Penn State, the Washington Redskins, AVP Pro Volleyball Tour, The Gold Cup International Soccer, US Track and Field Championships and the Central American Games.

The newest addition of practitioners at Bergen Chiropractic. Dr. Alex is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic in Connecticut, and received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences in 2015.


He has spent over 5 years in the Healthcare industry, while completing his graduate studies. Dr. Farinola has an affinity for sports and people, which has led him down the path of healthcare and into the chiropractic universe. He is very excited to get his career started at Bergen Chiropractic.


Some of Dr. Farinola’s hobbies are working out, going on long bike rides by the beach, cooking and baking with his family, watching football on Sundays and much more. Dr. Farinola’s hands on skills paired with his creativity in rehab exercises lends to an individualized approach to his patients.
